ANNUAL WORLD 100 AT ELDORA
7, 2014) Birkhofer Racing rolled into the hallowed grounds
of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from September 4-6 for the
44th edition of the 'World 100.' Things kicked off at the "Big

programs, each of which paid $5,000 to the winner. On Thursday
night, Brian Birkhofer ran second in his heat race prior to vaulting
up to fourth in his 25-lap feature to finish behind only winner
Dale McDowell, Randy Weaver, and Gregg Satterlee. At Eldora on

hefty $47,000 payday. The Muscatine, Iowa star was headed to an
apparent heat race triumph and a spot towards the front in the
'World 100' until terminal motor problems relegated Brian to a
devastating seventeenth place finish. "Birky" was done
for the night and unfortunately did not compete in this year's
100-lap grind. Complete results from the 'World 100' weekend can
